Board Vice Chair
Raised in East Washington Park and Historic Baker, Paul has over 30 years’ experience building organizations and promoting positive social change. He is now the Philanthropy Officer of the UCC Pension Boards. Paul was the first full-time Executive Director of A Little Help, and holds his doctorate from the Iliff School of Theology. He earned his Masters of Divinity from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor’s from Abilene Christian University. Paul previously served as the Chair and then Vice Chair of Denver’s Commission on Aging and on its Advocacy Committee, the Vice Chair of the national Village to Village Network’s Board of Directors and on its Strategic Growth committee, the President of the Baker Historic Neighborhood Association and the former Broadway Merchants’ Association, and as a member of the Colorado Senior Lobby, Generations United, the Lincoln Elementary PTA. Paul is active in his children’s, Grace, Lucy, and Park, activities and is an avid reader, musician (he is the lead singer and songwriter for Leon and the Revival), aging athlete, and Denver sports teams fan. He is also the Pastor Emeritus of Mayflower Congregational Church United Church of Christ in Englewood and his wife, Sarah, is a teacher at Cherry Creek High School.
Board Chair
John is the managing partner of Montgomery, Amatuzio, Chase, Bell, Jones, a Denver-based civil litigation firm, where he has practiced law since moving to Colorado in 1999. His firm hosts A Little Help’s annual holiday party and he enjoys donating his time and expertise to assist A Little Help’s Board of Directors and its members with their legal needs. John's wife, Christy, a former board member, and daughters, Lucy and Sophia, also actively volunteer their time and energy to support A Little Help’s mission.
